He taught English 10, Drama and was Play Director.

 

William Richard CROSSETT Devoted family man, teacher, actor, collector, and world traveler, Bill passed away in his sleep on August 26, 2010. Born in Ballard in 1929, he is survived by his loving wife Marcia, son Lindsay Collins and wife Nancy, daughters Melanie Duyungan of Edmonds, Janell Kofmehl and husband Patrick of Spokane,and Jacqueline Rusalen and husband John of Devon, England. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Cpt USMC Paul Clifford and wife Sarah, Lindsey Wilsnack and husband Christopher, Sgt USMC Harrison Clifford, 2nd Lt USMC Robert Clifford, Max Rusalen and Elena Rusalen, as well as his dear sister Phyllis Allen and husband Jack, sister-in-law Lorraine Crossett and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Ballard High alum, Univ. of Washington School of Drama graduate, Bill acted in theater from coast-to-coast and was a life-long enthusiast of all the arts. His long teaching career began in NYC, retiring from Meadowdale High School, Edmonds School District. His family, friends and students brought great joy to his life. Nancy Savage (Downey)

My Most  Favorite teacher. He seemed crazy but it takes crazy to do a Drama Class. I loved Crazy! learned to be creative from him. Best time was following a peacock around at the Woodland Park  Zoo to recreate a peacock for Drama Class. Maybe why I didnt do to well in other classes. I loved stuff like this.  Rip Mr Crossett!
