I was pretty good friends with Roger at Maple Park Elementary and then at Meadowdale Junior. I was aware of Roger's passing the year after we graduated, so I am quite sure the above information is correct. Roger was a gifted artist and loved cars. He was always drawing designs for car bodies and I think he submitted many of his designs to the Body by Fisher contests. I first heard the term "fastback" from Roger in 8th grade - that would have been about 1963. Roger was ahead of the design curve. Maybe he still is . . .
