BRIAN GUY BOWMAN(1949 - 2011)

Brian Guy Bowman was born September 2, 1949 to Hank and Eunice Bowman in Coulee City, WA.

He passed away at home peacefully in his sleep August 14, 2011.

Brian grew up in Lynnwood, WA graduating from Meadowdale High School in 1967.

He joined the International Laborer's Union in 1974 and began his long career in construction. He became one of the best pipelayers and topmen, known for his great sense of humor and easy going nature, working with him was always fun.

In 1982 he met the love of his life Carolyn and soon moved to Concrete, WA to begin a new life in Skagit County.

Brian was an avid fisherman and beer drinker, spending much of his off time at Devil's Elbow on the Skagit River with a line in the water and a cold one in his hand.

He retired in November of 2010 and was looking forward to spending his "Golden Years" with Carolyn, family, his new pup Jake, and of course fishing.

He leaves behind his Sweetheart of 29 years, Carolyn; daughters, Carrie and Angelynn; sons, Jeremy and Eli; grandchildren, Ken, Thomas, Noa, Lexi and Kristina; sisters, Cheryl, Adriane, and Deidre; brothers, Chris, Dave and Don; and his working partner in crime, Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Hank Jr., Doug, and Dick.

A private gathering will be held at Devil's Elbow where his ashes will be scattered making sure that Brian will be forever fishing.
