Lanny Bohn

June 14, 1948 - September 15, 2023

Some very sad news … Lanny Bohn passed away Friday night from a stroke, It was the 3rd one he’d had. He was with his son and daughter when it happened. He lived in Wenatchee. Lanny came to our 2022 picnic, and we all enjoyed seeing him. Steve Favorite had a picnic picture of Lanny framed and took it over to him earlier this year, knowing he was not able to get out anymore. He also took an apple pie as he knew Lanny loved pies. As soon as we receive an obituary, we’ll post it on our In Memory page.

Lanny was everyone's friend - he always had a smile on his face, and everyone felt his friendship when they were around him.  I have known Lanny since our elementary days at Maple Park Elementary.  We would walk to school together many times, as we lived close to each other.  I was glad to have Lanny to walk to school with, as there was a bully in my neighborhood, that loved to harass me!  Walking with Lanny made me feel secure, and I was not bothered.  So, either I walked with Lanny, or my brother Bob, and I was happy.  Lanny is going to be missed and thought about so much!  Rest in peace dear friend, and I will see you down the road.

Ron and I always enjoyed seeing Lanny, he had some great parties at his home on Martha lake.  It was great to see him at the picnic in 2022.  R.I.P.
